I am 33 years old and a mother to two little humans.

My first was born via cesarean. My birth and postpartum experience was nothing I anticipated or wanted. I had to be hospitalized four days after giving birth because of postpartum preeclampsia. I then struggled for years after his birth with PTSD and anxiety.

I knew that with my second I wanted a VBAC and the help of a doula. I was more prepared and educated than I was with my first, and I was fortunate enough to have a VBAC and was spared a preeclampsia diagnosis this time.

I decided after my first birth to become a doula an d childbirth educator. I then continued on to a postpartum doula certification to assist families after birth.

I am passionate about the well-being of mothers in the birth process - the before, during and after, and want to help every birthing person feel supported and ready on their journey.
